The ACSM is a part of the HPCareer.Net network. In early 1996 the concept to create a career network specific to the emerging field of health education & promotion began. Since then, HPCareer.Net has been recognized as the industry leader in making the connection between employers & universities and the professionals/ potential students they wish to reach.
As technology improved, we were able to expand our capabilities to include Career Services powered by HPCareer.Net for: colleges/universities, membership organizations, publishers and credentialing bodies specific to our industry. Our continuing growth and expansion is driven in part by these strategic relationships and our consistent focus on service and quality improvement.

Michaela Conley, Chief Executive Officer & Founder
Michaela has more than 25 years of experienceis and is a recognized leader in the industry. Originally from Indiana, she has resided in the Washington DC metro area since the mid 90's, during the time the Internet was just starting to take off. She became an active member of the Net-preneur Association, comprised of web pioneers involved in creating new businesses on the internet. She collaborated with leaders in "new technology" who gave life to her concept of what HPCareer.Net could be. Today, under her creative guidance, HPCareer.Net partners with a growing number of the leading membership organizations, publishers and credentialing bodies (see below) to support the industry at large. Michaela holds a Master's degree in Wellness Management from the Fisher Institute for Wellness & Gerontology from Ball State University.
Joseph Phaneuf, Chief Financial Officer
Joe came to HPCareer.Net following many years as a financial consultant. Prior to that, he was a Captain in the US Navy, fighter pilot and Top Gun instructor. Joe brings a strict attention to detail and organization, helping our organization to sustain its growth throughout the more than ten years of operations. Joe holds a Master's of Science degree from the Navy Post Graduate School in Monterey, CA.
Jennifer StClair, Customer Relationship Manager
Jen has been with HPCareer.Net for many years. First as a project based manager as she worked another full time job and pursued here education and now as the Customer Relationship Manager. She provides guidance and leadership to our sales & marketing team and takes a very active role in ensuring all customers receive the kind of customer service that is rarely seen and virtually non-existent in technology based business such as ours.
Jennie Gearhart, Marketing Specialist
Jennie joined HPCareer.Net in January of 2008 and is tasked with creating a coherent marketing framework for our rapidly growing organization. Previously, Jennie spent five years as a health educator with the Northern Kentucky Health Department & Senior Wellness Center. Followed by nearly three years of hands on work as a sales & marketing representative for a nursing & rehabilitation center. She received her master's degree in Public Health from the University of South Carolina, bachelor's from Purdue University and is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES

Customer Relationship Manager: Brandy joined the HPCareer.Net Sales team 2008 and quickly advanced to her current position. Brandy has experience in both work site health promotion and as faculty in higher education. Before joining HPCareer.Net, Brandy managed several Worksite Health Promotion programs and served as adjunct faculty for the University of South Florida. She received her Master's degree from Arizona State University and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Events Manager: Since joining HPCareer.Net in early 2009 Kelly has demonstrated that she is a analyst and techie at heart, quickly found her place as the Events Manager for our Lunch & Learn LIVE. For more than ten years, she has pursued opportunities utilizing web based technologies. Prior to joining us, Kelly worked as a systems analyst for a large HMO, in online marketing and as a webinar moderator for a training organization. Kelly received a Bachelor's of Science degree from Michigan State University.
